Mobile VS Desk/Laptop
All forum and website functions work like a charm on mobile devices. The only part that requires desk/laptop login is account & profile editing. You can also switch to the desktop version on your mobile device.

Registering
Registration is EASY. Just provide your name, or nickname, and a valid email address. You won’t need to confirm your email, but using a valid email address is important for account recovery and communication.
Profile Picture & Cover Photo
TO CHANGE YOUR PROFILE PICTURE AND COVER PHOTO ON YOUR PROFILE PAGE:
[A] Login on a desktop or laptop computer. You will be able to edit your profile. (See instructions below)
OR
[B] Send Email: womensocialpfp@gmail.com
- In your email, attach your photo(s).
- Label which photo will be for your Avatar (profile pic), and which will be your Cover.
- Include your USERNAME or NICKNAME and Profile Email (if different from the one you are using to send)
A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO YOUR EMAIL ON FILE, WITHIN 24 HOURS. Once you respond with approval, your profile picture will be set.
REMEMBER, you may change your profile picture at any time by logging on with a computer.
Editing your profile on Desktop Version (You can also switch to desktop version on your mobile device)
First, in the navigation bar, hover over “My Profile” and click on “Account.” This will open up your edit profile/account section.
Scroll down to where it says “Avatar” and use one of the three options provided: Default, Specify Avatar by URL, or Upload Photo (“Choose File”).

You can do this all in the same place. (My Profile – Account)

Edit Location and Time Zone

Editing Cover Photo on Desktop Version
AGAIN, after clicking “My Profile” and “Account” to edit your profile, stay at the top of the page. NOTICE the “photos” icon in the corner of your profile picture (usually bottom right).
Click the icon to change your cover image.
Navigation & Forum
BREADCRUMBS – Underlined in GREEN
You can use the forum navigation, the breadcrumbs, and the forum home link (main website navigation) to reurn to the forum home page.
Navigation
FORUMS – AKA the Home Page. Will bring you to the Women Social/EmPowerHer Forum Home.
MEMBERS – This will bring you to the page where you can find all forum members.
RECENT POSTS – Displays all recent posts, from all forums, subforums and topics.
MY PROFILE – Brings you to YOUR profile page. Hovering over this option will allow you to go to your account (to edit), your recent activity and your recent subscriptions.
LOGIN / LOGOUT – Self explanatory
REPORT A PROBLEM – Brings you to a contact form for reporting other user and website issues.
Breadcrumbs
Breadcrumbs are an additional menu that forms when you navigate through several different forum pages. The start of the breadcrumb menu displays an icon in the shape of a HOUSE. This icon is another way to get back to the forum home page.
Forum
The forum homepage will display “EmPowerHer Forum” & “Women Social Forums.” Depending if you’re on mobile or desktop, Recent posts will display at the bottom or on the side.
Adding Topics & Subforums
Parent forums cannot be created by non- admin.
Parent forums include General Chat, Health & Fitness, and Parenting (more coming).
You CAN add topics (subforums) under parent forums. If you don’t see a direct parent forum for your topic, JUST USE THE GENERAL CHAT.
